Fear based thought

Today recognize that most negative feelings are rooted in fear and that the origin of fear is thought. When we obsess about fear of what could be we are not in the moment. Also when we think about what could happen to us once again we are not in the moment. We spend too much time trying to arrange our lives rather than just living them. Practice watching your thought patterns today and see how much time is spent on fear based thinking.

Practice being here now by using the Silent Observer as your guide. Remember to silently observe yourself by being watchful of habits and conditions without judgement or condemning the self. Check in when you use the phrases, ” I feel” or “I’am feeling” Who exactly is feeling what? Observe without an opinion today.

Our next big step in our path is to loose the attachments that we have to the “I” ” Me” and “Mine”. Loosing these attachments will set us free from fear, suffering and pain. No self, no problem! In this episode we will begin to smooth over the well worn paths of the mind and construct new pathways of peace and joy. Erase the old patterns and enjoy your life in the here and now. I s there really a “self” or is that just another story we are hearing in our mind. With self identity will we still be able to function, live, pay bills and go to work? Yes!
